Membership

PAAS membership costs £12 per year (beginning of March to end of February).

We run a number of events each year and membership allows you early notification and a chance to be part of the planning and running of the event. We organise closed competitions, meets and public events and as a member we encourage you to be part of as many of them as you can.

Events

Competitions

We arrange bot atlatl, archery and combined events. The equipment rules are intended to be inclusive and while we encourage participants to use equipment in the spirit of the society we welcome all wooden arrow shooters whose bows are mainly made of natural materials and all atlatls either in the Classic or Open classes.

Meets

Several times a year we will do a little primitive camping and exchange ideas and thoughts around the campfire. Some making gets done but that is greatly outweighed by the talking ;)

Public Events

We have put on events for Flag Fen and are planning to be at Butser Ancient Farm in June 2008. These include show and tell sessions, have-a-go and demonstrations of equipment.
