Events

We are putting on a few events during 2008. Some will be public and others a bit of camping and some primitive skills exchange. Please let me know if you are interested in attending. There are also periodic ISAC competitions in East Sussex.

23rd/24th February 2008	Primitive skills get together	Flag Fen	Flag Fen Bronze Age Centre	A small gathering of ahout a dozen of us taking the opprotunity to live in the roundhose during the off season. Lots got done - ash arrow shafts stripped and straightened, stings made, arrows fletched and lots of chat.
28rd/29th June 2008	Public show and tell and have-a-go	Butser Ancient Farm	Butser Ancient Farm	A public event where we will be doing a have-a-go and some bow making. No plans for a formal competition but we will be demonstrating our primitive bows and atlatls in the have-a-go area. Report

19 July 2008	Competition and Barbecue	Fletching Archery centre	Google Maps Location for Fletching	Field Archery, Clout shoot and an Atlatl Field shoot followed by a barbecue. £5 Members, £7 non-members. Contact David for more details.
November 2008 (exact date TBA)	Members meeting and primitive skills get together	Flag Fen	Flag Fen Bronze Age Centre	Similar to the February get-together. We are negotiating to stay for 2 weekends and the week between them...watch this space
